I have indeed purchased my entry to gig at Hebden Bridge and hope to meet as many new to me Ozric fans. Ive been a fan since 2002 and only got to see about one gig a year to start but since 2012 been to see them a few times and in 2015 I attended 7 gigs two in Holland and 5 here in the uk. I have met several band members including Jon who I once spoke to for 45mins with no one else in the same room this was at the farm in Chappel St. Leanard not long after he was asked to leave the band. I have often chatted to Balazs since he has joined the band and he waves to me at the gig's I attend ' I think he is a great drummer ' also chatted to Ed, Brandi and Silas and I am a good friend of Dominic who has drummed twice with Ozrics we also traveled from Alkmaar to Amsterdam in 2015 on the train.

I did Ozric tour jackets which I gifted to many on here and also hats which Kitty models so well on her face book page. I truly love Ozric Tentacles and try to convert everyone who asks me about who I listen to in music. I also had Ian 'ozhead ' do a painting of Ed which greets me every morning....it is brilliant.

hi there Ozricnutter, thanks very much for the replies, I am of the opinion that Ozrics fans are top notch folk with a fierce devotion to the band. I only heard OT for the first time a couple of years ago and it was as if I had been waiting all my life to hear that sound, quite incredible music, and only they seem to conjure up that particular formula that pleases me greatly, progressive alternative instrumental synth rock, very difficult ti pigeon-hole. All the past and present members are great musicians and I am in awe of their achievements, especially the independent route to success that they have chosen. also i admire the amount of different tracks they play live. Up to now i have seen them at the two recent Newcastle gigs and I am looking forward greatly to Hebden Bridge in September, not long now. I am six foot 15 stone, short hair, usually unshaven, wife has long straight hair and specs. hope to see you and hear your stories, you have travelled far and seen so much, thanks for sharing. Colin .

Masterofnone53 here are some of the folks I have met..... all those who have posted in excess of a 1000 posts apart from Yiannis but we have been messaging each other for what must be approaching 10 years and I would say we are friends because of our love of O.T.... so who are these people? Kirk who is lead poster I met with Kev at York gig, Kev 'orpheus' we have been friends and message each other from time to time 'he is a great guitarist and writes his own stuff which is Brilliant' we have attended gigs at York and NEWCASTLE the Cluny I was also at last gig at 02 Newcastle standing with Yogbarroger who I think is 4rth highest poster. Then there is Watermill and Damien and I met both of these at Margate and had my selfie with them to include my 'Ozric drummer' friend Dominic he also does merchandise. Other mentions are Pete who has worked recording sunshine festival plus other recordings aswell plus nlpete who I shared a taxi with at Dutch gig in ZOETERMEER and we have met at Amsterdam gig too... and one more that I've met is Philly who I planned to meet at ZOETERMEER..... yes it seems that all Ozric fans are good people.

This tour is probably going to have a different setlist compared to the last one, with fewer TotS tracks. There are quite a few tunes I'd like to see again, even on YT. My first choice would be Aramanu.

spent a couple of days in Hebden, lovely place. The Trades club is near the river and canal and has a music license til 2.30am, informed by the chap running the door. well run club with a great vibe and the gig could have sold-out twice judging by the people trying to blag their way in. Ozrics came on just after 11pm, the band playing really tight, couple of rock numbers then a really strong version of Xingu, the electronic tracks were reaching the back better, so I wandered forward for Channa Masala and freaked out for 5 minutes next to a really hairy guy, thanks to lovely smiley people at the front, very understanding and good-humoured. a girl shouted catch him and i found myself holding onto a half-naked geezer who had jumped on the stage earlier. I did spot Ed Wynne in the audience before they played, tried to tell him thanks for the music but choked up with emotion and had to sit down to compose myself. Crazy emotions.
Apologies to Ozricnutter, very busy gig and unable to pick you out, hope you enjoyed it

How many Ozric fans would it take if we all chipped in £20 to get them over here for a few gigs. Crowdfunded Ozrics gigs are surely the way forward...

I wish they would tour Europe but I don't think there's as much of an audience as for the Ozrics.

Hey hallowed Ozrics! When are you going to make my year and have a UK tour?
I saw you a number of times in the 90s and early 2000s and need another fix
Love from Brighton

That's Ozrics electronic = Ed and Silas. Not quite an Ozrics tour. If I could see them I would of course.
