Yes...... thanks Pete. Chances are that I may not be able to go after all as I am due to have cancer removed and would not be well enough to go.

A lot depends on how I recover from my operation to remove my cancer and was told that I will not be able to drive for 6 weeks but I just had to get tickets for Islington as that was one full house last time and I did not want to be told sold out.....yeah I know there is 2 months to go but I wanted to be sure. So any one else who is thinking of going do not hesitate getting your tickets.

very much looking forward to the Newcastle gig, fantastic that O.T. are coming so close to home. November's gig at the Cluny was my first and I was heard to shout 'f...in amazin' after the first track in a very north eastern accent. I have found myself listening to nothing else these days, love it with a passion..

Well I seen 7 shows this tour and the stand out 2 gigs was Liverpool followed by Alkmaar both crowds where Manic and the band played brilliantly in my opinion Liverpool was best the crowd was Awesome and I was surrounded by very gorgeous gals all dancing away.
This tour was not easy for me as I have just had my cancer removed 2nd of April so I did suffer some pain but I made it to Leeuwarden, Alkmaar, Islington, Norwich, Newcastle, Liverpool and Birmingham.

So who did I speak to this tour band members Ed, Brandi and Balazs a few times ,sadly Silas if you read I never found the perfect time to chat to you though I wanted to say that you played well. Other peeps I seen and chatted with Pete, Shaun many times (hope I spelt your name right) Dominic at Alkmaar and Islington Kitty at Alkmaar and Newcastle Ian at Islington and it was great to see you looking well. Matt at Newcastle also Brian. I was meant to pick up Kev/ Orpheus though he got himself sick at a bad time hope to see you next time Kev. Also chatted with a young lad at Birmingham and by his reaction to the band and songs he is surely a new long term fan. I mentioned that Balazs is one hell of a drummer and after just 2 songs he agreed.

I'm new here and this is my first post. Just want to say that I enjoyed the Liverpool gig on Tuesday night. Saw the Ozrics in Chester last year too. Before that, last time I saw them was at Glastonbury in 1989. Silas wasn't even born ! They were Donovan's backing band, first thing on the Sunday morning. Good to see they're still going, true to the original spirit, and making great music. Thanks.

have to say I am impressed by the quality of people attending Newcastle gig, friendly. open and willing to share their liking for excellent music and unusual time signatures. lots of dancing going on, myself included. I do think that the mix was rather bass and drum heavy rather than light and trippy, so next time i'll stand opposite Ed's Marshall stack to even up the sound. I took the opportunity to have a quick word with Silas while Mantismash was playing and told him that Ed's a genius. also congratulated M on his performance and artwork. best wishes to Ozrics fans in UK and everywhere.

Hi can someone let me know details of the Ozrics gig plans this Summer in UK. I wanted to go to Oxford tonight but could not make it. Are they playing any festivals in the UK or Europe this summer?
All the best
Ben

The Newcastle gig was great and good to meet up the mighty Nutter again. Hope you had a safe journey onwards and good to see you up and about after such a tough time!
A few days ago there was some guy in the new Ozric shirt dancing his socks off at Monument (centre of Newcastle) as a jazz-ska band played for the shoppers...lively chap...any of you guys?

Many thanks your message Yogbarogger and if anyone else may want to know how I'm doing, things are improving slowly but I'll get there in the end been told it may take a couple of years. For those of you who don't know I had my cancer removed 2nd April but still managed to see the Ozrics play 7 times this tour. I am now back to work having had 7 weeks off.

I am a Durham lad and I have been to Newcastle only twice this year, once for Ozrics and then for kid creole. probability the dancer at monument might be university student, there have been lots at the two gigs recently, which is good news. the buskers at Monument and Northumberland street are generally good listening. best wishes to you, I have great memories of city hall and the mayfair from years back

On the subject of Ed and Art, Ozricnutter commissioned me to paint a portrait of Ed a few years back. He told me the exact moment he wanted me to capture from the 'Live at the Pongmasters Ball' D.V.D. So, this is Ed frozen in music nirvana from that show. Ian so glad you are back and glad your song writing is also going well. I am doing better after my operation but still far from what I was.

I may arrive wearing my Ozric tour jacket depending on what the weather be doing. I am short and fat I also speak with an American accent though I am British born in Cambridge and lived 50 years in and around Suffolk and I may have my blonde girl friend with me. It is my intension to give a jacket to Balazs and I did give one each to members but these jackets burned up when Wynne house burned down.
