Hi All, Yes we will be in England for the end of the year but we will not be on tour the whole time! ...we have some family to check up on and various things to sort out, we've been gone for a while now... We have a euro tour coming together starting October 10th in Bristol currently extending to the first weekend of November... It's not long but it's pretty dense, at the moment it looks like 6 or 7 shows in England. We have a few festivals in August & and one in September in Belgium, talking to Israel for August, and India again about December, their talking about six shows there I hope it happens, but I still won't hold my breath yet... I'll be updating the website with the shows that are confirmed this weekend. . . Sorry for not giving you more info ATM, I'm super busy working on a pretty big project for Snapper, that will make the merch stall a very colourful and fun place to be on this next tour... =) Some dates have been added in the gigs and tours section on the website. Dates in some different European countries occured. I`m glad there`s Germany, which is far from where I live, but not whole continent

Had a blast with zia last weekend and looked at some old vid's. Some great memories and cool light shows. Would be mental to see joie and merv again . Ha ha ;-) wicked Rush first though ;D

Hello Rad, I can't believe it's actually you! How are you doing these days? Many thanks for some excellent gigs in the late 90s and early 00s

OK here goes... to be clear this is not a rant.....is it? POSITIVE STUFF - Ed is improving, UK tour sates are announced, new material being recorded. In light of the previous Ozric year we should all be eternally thankful that the Ozrics still exist. I will be at the Bristol gig unless you decide to play closer to Cambridge. (Strawberry Fair Brandi?) NOT SO POSITIVE STUFF - why is it that this board is not party to the latest relevant information. If a gig is announced surely it should be put up here first. A new (compilation) album comes out and Ozrics dont know about it...how can that be? I personally have been a fan since 93 and i love the non commercial nature of the band, i also love how the lineup and subsequent sound has changed. All of us as fans should pray that the Ozrics remain strong enough to continue making beautiful music. thanks I would have a guess it is simply down to the fact Ozrics are prioritizing their time on the most important things in their lives. Who isn't? I am sure when the moment is right they will post up all relevant details, after the past year they are due a bit of slack I reckon. I am very ozricced up at the moment and love all the board activity. It looks set to be a very interesting year for ozrics and fans alike.

Heya, cheers for that! I sure hate to think that annoucing concerts falls into the "Not Positive" category! =) ... I'm sorry it takes so long to get these tours to make sense, no matter how early I start, or how fast a I try to go, there is always some problem that effects the routing and you have to shift a bunch of dates around, which is why we try to keep things penciled and not confirmed until the routing is done, but after a while you have to confirm the first shows so you don't loose them, and then you tell the promoters "don't announce the dates yet", and every time Rudolph, our Dutch promoter lists the dates everywhere and then start sending me emails marked URGENT: I need your press material, and of course it's not done, because I told him we weren't done with the project that the tour is in support of yet, which is way I didn't want to announce the dates yet, which should technically be fine because we should be done in the next two weeks and have it all sent out to print, and I intentionally started booking this tour WAY early, so we would have good routing, then I can get all my press material out next week, and we would have all of those things in place before I would have normally even started booking a fall tour in the first place! ...and breath. Story of my life though. With that said I really think/hope you're going to like what we're up to for this tour. You can probably guess it's not the new studio album. Although that is really starting to take shape. With everything that's been going on, we will not finish it in time for the tour. But instead we are doing something a little more in line with the 30th anniversary. =) There's all kinds of things in the works I want to tell you all about, just need a few more days to finish the task at hand...
...and the Bristol guest list starts already! =) Hi RAD!!

Wicked! ...I saw Rush at Red Rocks last year with Bill and Mandy, ( do you remember them? Mandy used to do the Rush fan club, and they bring us all kinds of amazing organic homegrown food everything we play Chicago? They say "HI!" too. ) The show was epic, something went a bit wrong with their intro and you could tell Geddy had to enter a bit quicker than he desired, he was a bit shaky for the first track, but after that it a like someone had pushed the quantize button, and Neil was like a train, or an android, or something out of a sci-fi film, he's so dead on it's like he's not human and therefore can not be distracted by mere mortal thoughts. ;D

Btw - David, (Ed's dad) at 86 this year, has just discovered Rush. Someone left a video at his place, I think it's live in Rio, anyway, he watches it over, and over , and over, he just loves it! ;D

So as I'm popping in on the board here, I'm planning the tour, looking at plane flights, I couldn't help but notice that YYZ is the airport code for Toronto... ah, good old spacey Neil...

Unreal. Neil has always been my guide and inspiration..long may it continue Yes i remember syrinx69 and bill they gave me a load of fanzines etc of rush. Very sweet folks. Hugs back at them. Briliant dvd the rio show and the last 2 for that matter. Good old david ;D nothing wrong with that . Only gotta wait one more day and im 6 rows from neils kit.Smack bang in front. I get to be the rush fan drumming nutter staring at him all gig for a change.lol Yeah i was very happy to play toronto on a tour for obvious rush reasons and wanted a yyz luggage ticket for ages. Didnt get one until years later. Fortunately we got a new bus that gig instead of the deathtrap rust bucket we were on at the time. Ask ed as to how shot it was and how hot it was in the desert! YYZ main musical theme comes from the beacon pulse emitted from the cn tower i believe.

Hi Brandi. Just to let you know I'm gonna be at the Bristol gig. I don't know if it is cheeky to ask but I hope my work on the remastering of vitamin enhanced will earn me a place on the guest list. I'm no chancer or blagger though, and I don't mind giving money to the Ozrics, as it is a good cause. It's entirely up to you.

I agree, if it can be done. ;D
So far for me it's Off The Tracks as a first course, then..
Poole (get to sleep in car/travel inn or sumsuch) onto Cardiff (back to Liverpool after gig... The rest of the gigs start from home) Liverpool Manchester Birmingham Glasgow
I am working on London as I have the hire car and I'm off work but don't think it will happen.
;D ;D

Got my ticket for the Manchester gig. Pity I misbooked the hotel and have a root march / pub crawl to plan. Never mind. I saw the Ozrics in Leeds last time, and wish they would play here again. PS, I'm a merchandise fiend, and am looking forward to spending Regards

This will be my first Ozrics gig for a VERY long time - I don't think I've seen them live since Off The Tracks 2005, which if I remember correctly was "nearly" a Nodens set because of grumpy bandmates I was going to Eastern Haze in 2007, but then it absolutely pissed down for a week before the festie, so I didn't go - Worcestershire to Suffolk is a long drive and lots of cash/petrol etc just to camp in the mud for a weekend. So here we are...30 years on (22 for me - 1991 was my first gig), let's give it a go eh?

Wondering if the support act is the same for all UK venues or if they are different for each venue with the Ozrics tour ? Just booked tickets for Poole next Saturday night, a bit of a treat (and a mentally long drive tbh, mate is coming and chipping in the petrol ) but you only live once (well actually who knows ?) Gonna show some love for Ozrics. Liked the look of that venue Mr. Kyps for some reason, getting away from where you live is always refreshing and seeing Ozrics play there is even better.

getting away from where you live is always refreshing and seeing Ozrics play there is even better. I hear you Misty, Driving, Mmmm, well, not the driving but whats at the end of it, though I see nothing of the towns and cities I visit, but what I do see more than makes up for that My plans have totally evolved for this tour car hire has become a van hire. For Poole I am picking up People in Birmingham and Bristol... (probably staying in Bristol) then onto Cardiff gig Liverpool and Manchester gigs are from home London is again via Birmingham and Bristol (a pretty big drive huh?) I can't wait to see everyone I've not seen in an age at this one (not been to London gig in a few years) (probably staying in Birmingham after this) then onto Birmingham gig, home after Birmingham, then the drive to Glasgow (Liverpool>London is equidistant with Liverpool>Glasgow but Glasgow is the much better drive. I am really looking forward to it all... I miss the treks across country with good friends.. and even more friends in the back of the van... teehee we have been remembering some of the mammouth treks from days gone by... some a lot of fun Eddie, sent message but short answer is I don't know to be honest.. I don't think you'll have any problems though.
