a quote from an ill-informed clown taken from the Telegraph
But Superintendent Paul Williams said the ban was designed to preserve public safety. "Experts are telling us that the profile of fans that follow Pete Doherty and Babyshambles is volatile and they can easily be whipped up into a frenzy, whereas the profile of someone that would follow around Cliff Richard or Bucks Fizz, for example, is completely different."
Can anyone believe that this man is actually saying this? Bucks f**k**g Fizz??? I think the freak is maybe hinting that John books Sir Cliff for next year.

Just as well the 'profile' of Ozrics fans is generally much more acceptable, at least there's never moshpit action, as far as i can remember. Let's hope they won't look into it in more detail though, or they might ban based on leftover substances found in the fans blood, perhaps. Perhaps not. Well, maybe I'll go to Doherty's private party in his barn then, haha... Are OT going to appear at that as well?

I did'nt see OZRICS at all in 2008. I do hope that in 2009 we get more dates here in the u.k. I just want to know if this happens and lets say that London has a gig am I likely to see any of you lot or is the smoke out of reach. I need my OZRIC fix real bad.

Kirk , it's o.k no need to explain the penny has dropped. It has taken half a day. I did focus on mint and not Worthington's. Playing havoc with my mind ' whats he talking about sucking on a mint' .You will have to excuse me, on the smart scale 1 to10, I hover around a 2 at best. .........It is my hope that one day soon we might have a brew, not just yourself but others on here too.

Pete, I'm sure you shall share news with us when you can. I do wonder if you shall reach the 100 gig mark this year. I'm sure this is a milestone you have been wishing to make.

as soon as i know anything, i will post on here.. as will, i am sure, anyone else when they find out anything. y'know the sad thing is... untill i actually wrote all the gigs down that i've been to... i thought i had already been to over a 100... oh well.. maybe this year that 7 date tour of merseyside will help kate... the dates on ozrics.com are for last year.. and no, moonfest did not happen, scuppered at the last minute by those that wish you not to have a good time

You must have done over a ton of em now Pete. I bet you've forgotten some.
I don't know how many I've done, but it's not yet a hundred, possibly 80+.
I get this feeling of being at "home" when I go to an Ozrics gig, as soon as I see that Marshall stack. I get that same feeling at HW gigs too, Although I have been to much more of them because I've been into HW longer.
Silliest shenanigans at an Ozrics gig: getting kicked out of Leeds Metropolitan uni in 92 for shmoking a stogie. Champs got me and my friends back in again though.
Silliest shenanigans at a HW gig : You know this one mate, having to stand outside the Pacific arts centre while you and Sean enjoyed yourself inside, cos it sold out and I couldn't get in. That cold I gave up trying to get in and went for a red hot curry instead.

If that happens, my chevrons will spin, encode and lock. But, if the A~Waves of my Space Pilots, “Mirror System 7”, happens to be thar also at that Leylines Centre, my chevrons will be encoded and lock upon 6 and ready for that 7’ O' Clock wake up call…… ;D "It time for my soul to go......swimming inside nature".. ..... .
