Hey guys and gals,
I've just spoken with Sally of Fruit Pie Music (who, if you didn't know, is the Ozrics' booking agent) and she told me that the Ozrics are not confirmed for the Earthwise festival and that she knows nothing at all about it.
Keep us posted if anyone else knows anything.
All the best,
J.

Excellent news. I apologise if my first post annoyed you, I just figured that Fruit Pie would have booked the gig and would have known about it. I didn't want others to buy tickets based on you guys headlining if it wasn't true, which is why I posted that. So what do you have in store for Margate tomorrow night?

Have a great one. Right, I've booked my tickets for the Saturday at Earthwise. We're making it a 'pitstop' on our road trip round the British Isles, we'll be away for about two weeks. WE WILL SURVIVE!!

"I'm currently trying to write out a survival list, any ideas?! "maroonedmessiah Yes! Wear a heat resistant suit to protect you from the heat waves emitting from the stage your about to see and receive. [glow=red,2,300] Hot…Hot…..Hot … [/glow] Also, prepare your arms and legs to go crazy whilst the Green Alien aka Merv, drum waves them too senseless control…
. Keep an eye out on Ed, for when he starts generating and emitting those 51 Particles, your next "Hidden Step" will shift you into a newer upper level dimensional change …. As for that Bass player, aka Space Commando…. I can not help you thar, seems even wearing protective ear muffs during his electromagnetic deep sonic attack upon you, will still penetrate your inner shell thus causing your whole body to gel and groove to his waves….. ;D You have been warned! This was posted on Merv Eat Static site thread "Let’s take Merv on a vacation" www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=45899&p=3&topicID=17628528"Collapsed at the Ozric gig the other night..margate ambulance service turned up with the oxygen bottle, all ok,just got a little dehydrated in that sweaty place..was flippin' bangin' 'em hard tho! " A Gladiator he is, just happy he is doing fine but he does require that much needed break for a few...Looking forward to seeing him here across the pond via Colorado and possibly in Kansas. ;D Take care, of yourself Merv… Peace and Keep Zee Faith

We have no more UK dates this year and with the move planned for the end of Oct, it's probably going to be next summer before another.

So unfortunately Moonfest has been cancelled now, stupid Wiltshire police... Grrr, had been looking forward to that...

On the face of it, this looks like a ridiculous over reaction by Wiltshire Police. www.moonfest.co.uk/ But they seem to be of the opinion that 15 stewards are not adequate to deal with last minute ticket sales to Pete Doherty fans. Also, Babyshambles apparently attract a crowd that might prove a threat to public order....If that's the case, why weren't these issues brought up earlier? By pulling the event, it's caused loss of money and inconvenience to ticket purchasers, bands and organisers alike.... Looking on the bright side, it's probably going to be rubbish weather anyway...
