It was a fabulous time, not only for the attendees, but the bands as well. Brandi in particular was having a blast during the OT set, and came out into the crowd during "The Throbbe", dancing with the folks and pulling on a hand-rolled cigarette. Ed commented at the beginning of the segment that it was nice to see the audience for a change. It must have reminded him of the long gone Stonehenge days, because he seemed to be really enjoying himself as well, despite his acoustic guitar breaking down prior to the show. There was no stage lighting, but plenty of camera flashes going off to keep the strobe-like atmosphere going. And, yes, it's a crying shame they didn't bring merchandise. I was certainly not alone in being disappointed at not being able to load up with Ozric goodies. Hello all, first post here! My girlfriend and I were in attendence for PROG DAY 09, which was also our first OT show. We had such a blast!! We were the younger couple (probably the youngest couple that weekend) dancing on the left side of the stage... Brandi came over to us and danced/chatted for a bit as pointed out by Beezer. We were able to snag a photo with Brandi (would post it if I had it uploaded on the web). She was kind enough to thank us for dancing! (I don't know how you can listen to OT and sit in a lawn chair!) The whole weekend was absolutely perfect! At any rate, thanks Beezer for pointing out the link fo the show. I'll definitely be downloading this tonight without a doubt. Keep us posted on the video you took as well!

this total lack of any news at all is disturbing, don't you think?
my new year's wish is that the ozrics would actually post something, however brief, on this message board (seeing how the official site is dead) once a month, just to let us know that they are OK and interested in maintaining a fan base of some sort.
Slag me if you want for saying it...

Be good to know they are ok Joel...as for maintaining a fan base I doubt our feelings come into it whatsoever until the time comes around to buy the next album

I had the good fortune to be able to send some of the photos I took during the asheville Orange Peel show,2009.The band was great, very easy to talk to,which is usually the last thing a performer wants to do after a show.Check out the pics at whats new.Yes-merchandise is a must to add to the bands road trip account! Now, if I can get them booked in central Florida too.... Peace, DrumMan

Hey Ozrics Fans! I was lucky enough to catch two shows from from last years tour, and they were great, aside from technical difficulties in Portland. What concerns me is that Ed and family have recently moved to the states, and that leads me to think that is so they can tour more extensively here and gain a larger american audience. Having seen Lotus and STS9 this year at very well attended shows, I am kind of baffled that Ozric hasn't jumped on that psychedelic jamband wagon so to speak (even though OT are the godfathers of this genre). Both Lotus and STS9 are very well marketed and represented, so we know there is an audience out there for this awesome music. I guess I am just surprised that things aren't moving bigger and faster for them! Maybe that is not what Ed is interested in, but moving to the States is a huge life change, so I can only think he wants to gain more exposure! I'm going to start campaigning for them to appear on Jamcruise! At least that way they get a vacation at the same time! I love the Ozric's and wish them nothing but greater success if that is what they want! Can't wait to see them again! A www.rocknrolluniverse.com

I guess I am just surprised that things aren't moving bigger and faster for them! yes, well, a lot of us are wondering the same thing, as we hear even less from them and see them less than when they lived in the UK... Lotus and STS9 probably have effective management for one thing, and have cultivated street teams of fans in each town they play in... the Ozrics seem to be unable to learn from experience, thinking that people will magically appear at gigs they don't even know about. Sorry, but they seem to be aspiring to fail over here.

Hey Sparky, Ya, I have to agree! I was amazed that they didn't even have any merchandise or copies of the new CD for sale when they toured last summer! I wanted to get one signed, but no luck! I am just bumming as I thought that a move to the states was a fantastic opportunity for them! I took it upon myself to write an email to their management company to suggest getting a gig on Jamcruise (www.jamcruise.com), as that would be a fantastic gig for them, where they would fit right in, but of course I heard nothing in return! The festival scene alone is totally ripe for them! Maybe I could be their manager! I guess we can at least hope Ed is busy in the studio recording another CD? Kinda depressing actually!
