hi.does anyone knows what kind of drum machine or drumkit samples ed uses at the latests ozrics albums?(spirals, floors and yumyum tree).i like the sound of the drum machine and they fit very good with the supernova basses.i also checked the equipment list at ozrics site but nothing.
thanks a lot

That could be also the Supernova (amongst others), as it's 8-part multitimbral...You can hear some typical drums sounds of the SN on older tracks like Waterfall Cities, for exemple. (I also recognized many factory sounds of the SN2 on the last records...)

hi.first of all thanks for the reply. 2 .supernova does not have the basic drums sounds i am searching for(i know that because i have the supernova).supernova has some electronic percussion sounds like tr808 and i am agree that ed is use this sounds at some tracks.but he use them over the (drum machine?) basic drums .i thing that is an old drum machine like yamaha ry series or boss.something like that.at the pongsmastersball dvd he is messing with a drum machine at the bonus chapters at the soundcheck but im not sure witch drum machine is.the drums sounds i am trying to find are at most of the new ozric albums.e.g spirals in hyperspace song.slinky, akasha, jelly lips, spacebase, toka tola, waterfall cities and many more.anyway thanks for the reply and i hope i will solve this mystery.

I know what sounds you mean: some snares and stuff like that, isn't it ? Maybe Ed's still also using his old Wavestation, as for Xingu drums ? Will have a quick look at my Pongmaster's DVD

.i know about the mdf.maybe its not above the d-50.i cant find the dvd now to tell you exacly where this drum machine is located but if you watch all the soundcheck carefully you will notice the drum machine and you will see that ed is playing some kicks with his fingers also .i think you will see it before the disdots track
