Some info re the names given to these tracks. I personally haven't downloaded this selection because I feel I will have anything on there anyway as I was one of the guys in the eighties that used to get tapes filled up by Joie and Ed. Joie used to copy for people a selection of tracks called "Ozrics vol 1 to 15" My set of tapes went up to 20 so I'm sure I have these tracks. It was Joie who named some of these tracks. (Nazer man may have added a few, I don't know). Also worth noting is that Ed, Joie and Paul used to sell the early tapes at gigs (or rather I did for them). Joie's tape of "Ethereal" had an extra track on it as did "Tantric" (a live one). So those early tapes are slighly more collectable than might first appear.

These songs are a treasure trove...I had been wondering for the longest time whether older material of the Ozrics Exsisted, and now it's here. This will keep me happy for many days to come.

I had a kind soul, who has some expertise in this ether, to download the tricky torrent thingy for me as i'm but of an old analogue kid at times.. If you still need the key to that treasure you'll find it in the Sunhair Extension thread (Courtesy of everyones favourite forum member, your friend and mine,Tantric Obsticles -EXTREME THANKS TO YOU AGAIN MATE:)

Ecoplasm- Yes, the obstacles to the Tantric Trove have been successfully navigated, and the result is no less than Ozric nirvana, to say the least. These songs are on my MP3 player and accompany me on my walks...nice to hear on a walk through a pine forest or a sunlit meadow. At any rate, thank you so much for your concern and for the pointing out of the other link. Forunately, the old one worked for me! For those of us who long for the old halycon days gone by of fre-form Ozric material, this rare and wonderful 5-CD set is like Erp enlightenment.
Cheers to you also, synth(onaplinth)

I finished listening to all of the unreleased stuff, It's interesting, you can hear the birth, if only in snippets, of some of our most beloved Ozric tunes. It can be argued that in parts it can sound a little samey, and the sound quality isn't spectacular, but i suppose you gotta remember what they were recording it on, anyway i think the iffy sound made it more Ozricy. There some proppa little hidden gems hidden away amongst that lot though, Comet Chaser and the brilliant, Take Me To The Meadows, can't believe they left that one behind.
My Ozric rainbow is glimmering in the sun, eminating love, light and good vibes...i love being an Ozric fan.

Soulseek is free, Ganjalf. If you go to soulseek.org you should find the free download there. I know loads of people have had problems with conflicting versions but as long as you load the latest version you should find other people from on here

Hey the sound quality of these tracks was fine before Nazer shrank the file sizes. Look for my collection on there. there's loads more tracks than on Nazers anyway and the quality should be much better cos I didnt shrink no file sizes.

hello everyone i hope all is well with you all. i have been a huge fan of the ozrics for about 16 years and i am trying to get all of the unreleased studio material. i have the 5 disc unreleased tracks that are available online. but reading kirks last entry i guess there are more tracks that are not on the 5 disc downloads. any info on these or how to get them would be greatly appreciated. i have never liked a band/artist more than the ozrics. the most amazing music ever recorded. thank you all.

I'd help if I could mate, I've never Soulseeked (not having access to a Pc of my own), but I have given several sets of my collection out to folk on this board and I am told they are there on Soulseek for you lot. There are approximately 15 cds of early stuff, covering the beginnings of The Bolshem People and the start of OT and going up to 1988. Some of these CDs are compilations of live Space Jams that I compiled, some are Studio tracks.
Happy seeking, someone will hopefully point you in the right direction.

Indeed..Kirk kindly sent me a shit load of discs and I put some of them in my soulseek folder but no-one was interested. Part of the problem is that some of the stuff is out there many times in various compilations and so on and as Pete will testify Kirk himself has sent stuff to him with some tracks repeated so anyone's collection is not exactly definitive.
If anyone is ever interested though I will just put the discs as Kirk has sent them to me into my share and they can be grabbed from there

Would be good Orpheus...actually we need some archivist to decipher all the stuff thats out there...separate duplicates etc. I have two Bolshem discs, Two large sets of Ed's Tracks and Ed's Unreleased, plust the 5 bootleg cds...would be interested in the other (possible) 6 or so sets that Kirk mentioned, even if its "Ed doing laundry" or "Gavin going for a walk in garden"

I certainly can never be chewed with listening to different discs and remembering if I have heard somthing before, Matt. Some of the stuff on Kirk's discs that appears on other discs does indeed sound to be less degenerated so it's definitely worth checking out

I can add this, I now have the Nazer 5 cd set and there is nothing on there that was not in my collection, and it is very grainy and compressed.

I'm new to soulseek too but I've managed to get some files thanks to our Nice Community specially The ever Kind Sparky who helped along the way. and of course Philly (thanks mate). I think you should go to the thread called "soulseek gang" if not ask.
