I know it was on Swirlly Termination, but that was an album of off cast's from previous albums, released by there record company at the time, not by the Ozrics, hence we never hear, what is an Ozric classic live.
Can anyone tell me when it was recorded and what album it got overlooked on and maybe why, as i brought my Swirly T cd in to work and was listening to it today and played it to my mate, i know its a wicked album and that tune does stand out but my mate hadn't a clue who the Ozrics were until today and he thought it was an amazing tune as well.
It's one of those universal type of tunes, you aint gotta be into the Ozrics or have heard of them to understand and hear that its effin good.

I read somewhere that ST contains songs made as early as 1992, and since they changed their record company in 1998, that leaves us with the following albums; Jurassic Shift (1993), Arborescence (1994), Become the Other (1996) and Curious Corn (1997). Based on the sound and the composition of the song my guess is that the album it was supposed to be on, is Jurassic Shift. But since all of their albums have a vast difference in types of songs, it's pretty hard to determine which one it is. As for why it was cancelled, I have no clue...perhaps they felt they already had enough songs for JS and decided not to release Yoy Mandala?

there are notes about the tracks written by simon 'eddie' baker for the 2003 digi-pack release of swirly
'Far Dreaming and Yoy Mandala are from one of of the many jam sessions recorded at the Mill with Rad and Seaweed..... spiced up and re-arranged by Ed'
