... for the first time ever, last weekend. I sat down in front of an old version of Acid Music and figured it out. I made this track in the process:

It's almost 14 mins long and goes through many changes, so you might not like one part but like the next. Plus, I was getting better at working things out as the track went on. Yeah, it's not perfect, but not bad for my first try. I need to get more samples of breaks and crashes - it's a bit breakless.
Also, I made this one more recently (I think it's better in some ways - more neat):

Only 7 minutes long, or so.
So, shall I give up it, or is it at least half decent (or a quarter)? Invest in a better program?
And does anyone know where to get a load of cool samples, especially melodies and textures.
