Hey everyone! thanks so much for trying to help me out. I play the keyboard and I am currently trying to get into it more seriously. Ozric Tentacles is the music that inspires me most, and the music that I want to play. I would like to know how it all works. What scales do they commonly play in? Are these mostly minor scales or some crazy other scales that I don't even know about? Lets say, theoretically, I was going to sit down and jam with the ozric gods... what would be the things that I definitely would need to know in terms or chords, inversions.. etc. As you can see... i'm clueless.. but any info you can give me on this topic would be appreciated. Thanks!
also.. where can I get a frickin' tshirt!?!?!?!??!?! thanks ya'll.

studying music theory will do you no harm , you can get popular music theory books at www.booksforguitar.com also you could probally study synthesis and learn how to create edit timbre on your synth/keyboard . common harmony in ozric music includes but is not limited to the following chords : Sus 2 , Sus4 , Minor 11th ,Major 9th . other common intervals for melodic content are The use of altered intervals such as the b9 ,#9 and b5 for spicy stuff. and 3,7,9th and #11 for the more dreamy stuff .
