This Greek band released "Back to the Center" in 2014. Sure it sounds like archival Ozrics at most times, but I can`t resist liking it a lot, I even bought physical CD by their Bandcamp site. The keys resemble Seaweed`s work a lot I guess, sometimes it`s heavier than anything Ozric, in vein of Quantum Fantay and even some metalcore riffs. Some Shpongle comes to mind as well. One of the members actually posted here couple of years ago the remix of Crackerblocks which is on their soundcloud too. soundcloud.com/spiralmazespiralmaze.bandcamp.com/

Good idea to change Crackerblocks so much, a faithful cover would be pointless. The original is pure perfection, any attempt to play it note for note would be futile.

They should team up with the surviving members of Tidal Flood and form a super-Ozric-influenced/homage-group! Still love listening to their 'Scientific' EP from time to time

I think TF's guitarist took part in a TV talent show as part of a band playing pop a few years ago. There's footage of that but I can remember neither the show's nor the band's name. Can't blame him for trying to make some money out of his hobby, but more likely than not he's not interested in this type of music anymore. Not much chance of actually making a living playing music that's not even relatively popular in Greece these days (or ever, for the matter). Most musicians have two options here: play as background band members for famous stars or try to get a job (which is not even a certainty anymore) and have music as a hobby whenever there's time - and money to pay for studio time.
I think these guys are a bit less derivative than TF too. Pity they mostly play in Chania, I'd love to see them in Athens.

Thanks for the heads up. A really amazing band and love both their albums as they definitely have the Ozrics vibe.
