probably loads but here is just 1 to start us off:
Ed mentioned something about tracks that start of really promising in the Belgian interview and then end up something you were not expecting.... and how he tries to keep the promising start going.

: ) Pretty sure I heard that one recently Damien, great choice ! Nice one Adam.. at first I thought... Thats not very Ozriccy... but then the arpeggio, cool ! Fun thread. Thing is you tend to hear them at random so it might be a slow building thread, but a hopefully with enduring appeal.

He only has the flanger set to 3, Ed would have it on 8 but it has a little something:
This has a 10 second Nodens Ictus vibe...

Maiden's Moonchild, although one of my faves by the band (actually the whole album) doesn't sound Ozricky to me. Maybe the middle, ambient part of the title track fits the bill a bit more, but then again maybe not that either.

Just a great track. I am not sure if it is ozric-like.

Yeah that surely passes reminds me of a track a little (cannot recall name now)... here is another for first 8 seconds... you have to turn the start up though.. Chaka smashed it with this song it's a cracker, such anticipation for the next part of the track always there IMO.

This choice began on a cerebral route. I have the score for it and the time signature matched or was similar to 'Etherclock.' The intro perhaps is more similar to vibuthi with the tremelo picking. The chord is a 'minor 11th chord. 'Which crops up a lot in Ed Ozric's funky improvisations. The melody the descends in a symmetric pattern is reminiscent of melodic phrasing in Bizzare Bazarre or The Slow funky groovy song on curious corn.

Don't know if this quite qualifies, but...
Eloy - Introduction (from Planets, 1981). Quite spacey sounding.
Just a great band and album really. The interlude from 3:26... goosebumps...!

I'm not a big Eloy fan but this album is really good. This and Silent Cries... I often find their melodies a bit too cheerful though.

When you enter a crime detection zone in the game Watch Dogs, the backing music gets a bit Waterfall Cities era, Ozriccy ...anyone playing it by the way, pretty good game.

Oh, and I thought I was the only one, that bit really stuck with me! Great thread! Maybe I will remember something that fits it.
