SACRED TURF?!? Did they play the whole tune or a bit of it as an intro? Looking forward to Sultana Detrii as well. Thanks foosman. Thats looks like one killer set list, great there is a good balance of tunes (and a generous number of tunes played in a gig, hats off for that, nice one for posting it up : ) The original set list ended up looking a little bit different from the final set list. The show went something more like this (I'd appreciate any corrections): Ozric Tentacles March 30, 2012 The Canopy Club - Urbana, IL 01 The Sacred Turf > Attack of the Vapours (10:32) 02 Mooncalf (08:44) 03 Og-Ha-Be (09:40) 04 Xingu (07:52) 05 D-Jam? (10:13) 06 Paper Monkeys (07:37) 07 Invisible Carpet (07:41) 08 Lost in the Sky (07:16) 09 Sultana Detrii (12:03) 10 Myriapod (06:08) 11 Ayurvedic (13:46) 12 The Throbbe (11:29) Encore 13 Eternal Wheel (09:58) bt.etree.org/details.php?id=554024

Hello everyone! New to the board but an old fan of the band! I just saw them last night here in toronto and I recorded the show and am eager to share! First show I've ever taped, and now I'm addicted! Btree is the best place to post it?

Hello! (I thought I was a new member but apparently I made a profile who knows when) - but basically new member here! I was at the Toronto gig, and I'm not quite sure of which service to use for torrents, but I am very looking forward to when you post it, ampaudio. I think I saw you standing at the back! Knew I'd find the source here let me also say how FANTASTIC I feel now that I've finally seen the ozrics! One of my life's dreams has now happened, and it was much more mind-blowing than I could imagine I feel bad for not staying to get a chance to meet the gang, cos I had a real strong urge to tell Brandi she's just magical. Well, now I have another dream!

Wow, judging by the videos you uploaded on YT paranoid, this'll be another great sounding bootleg. Do you happen to remember the setlist? I saw Saucers there once again.

What a great show last night at BB King's in New York City. I am hoping to see this one available somewhere.
Does anyone have a complete setlist? I'm lost somewhere between "The Sacred Turf" and "Sploosh" : )

I hope I get to hear Eternal wheel live it always seems to translate really well live and for me it's just the most magical of tunes, I cannot believe I will see Ed and the band actually playing it before my eyes. It is one of my most revered of Ozrics tracks, the guitar playing is phenomenal, well the entire track too . Got tickets for 2 gigs booked now and I would love to make a third if possible but have to check dates/people etc.

Love to get some of the other shows. Apologies for not getting my set up yet. It's the first show I've recorded and I'm not familiar with all the procedure on how to upload it to btree, and divide everything up into tracks, plus it's a very big file (just over 4 gigs) and I'm not sure if people are interesting in downloading a huge file like that? Any suggestions would be welcome. Maybe I'll just make a torrent file and post it here?

Well as soon as I figure out all the procedures to uploading I'll have it out to you all! I wasn't at the back though, pretty well right in the middle. I walked up and down that room to try and find the best place to stand to balance to mains and the band, but judging by foosman1s recording, I wonder if not having their soundguy (wasn't let over the border) made a pretty big impact on the over all sound of the show. Anyways.. I'll let everyone else decide..

Registered here just to post about the show last night in NYC at the B.B. King. Absolutely mind blowing, and I was able to make a fairly decent recording of the show given the nice seating arrangements. I may have it up soon and I will post it here when I can after editing and cleaning up. Everyone deserves to hear this show it was a totally amazing night.

Just got back from the Sellersville show...great show of course! No soundboard recording here, but got a coulple nice audience recordings from two different sources...will sort it all out tomorrow and post a torrent when ready. I might mix the two together depending on how they sound. I know one sounds amazing, as I listened to it on the drive home :-)
Met Brandi before the show and Ed and Oli after the show. Very nice people and I made sure to tell them all to keep this line-up going! Since I saw them in 2004, they've only gotten better each time around. I think this new (and hopefully permanent) line-up is one of the strongest in a longtime, mostly due to the fact that they seem to have really spent enough time together to gel. It was nice to hear Sultana Detri and Invisible Carpet. The new material was all very well received and sounded fantastic, especially Lost in the Sky. The venue seemed mostly full and was the biggest crowd I've seen at an Ozrics show. The opening band, Igor's Egg, was a local Philly band and were great too. Anyways, I'm done rambling, but I will add the setlist for good measure:
Sacred Turf>Attack of the Vapours Mooncalf Xingu Synth Jam Paper Monkeys Og-Ha-Be Sultana Detri Lost in the Sky The Throbbe Eternal Wheel Myriapod -------------- Invisible Carpet
Hope I didn't forget anything!! Stay tuned for photos and recordings!

i can't even begin to tell you how blistering the NYC show was!!i was agog and thoroughly transported throughout, the tightness of the group countered only by the wisps and shards and otherworldly drones n' bubbles n' such from Ed & Silas. Brandi's playing is SO thick, and Ollie......well......he is just monstrous in every way........VERY reminiscent of Peart at times.
much L.O.V.E. of the most high to all!!

They didn't play Sploosh. They commented they were going to play it as the encore but decided to play Invisible Carpet, which was fine for me :-)

hey marblesmike, i was at the sellersville gig as well ( we were the rowdy bunch in the front left against the stage) What a great gig it was indeed!
Highlight reel... sacred turf into vapours was bleedin brilliant, hope that combo sticks around for as long as O-I or white rhino tea. Sultana detrii was gorgeous as well as lost in the sky...sweet! Anyone going to this tour is in for a blast of a time. During the throbbe Brands came down and sat at our table for a few (thats when i heavily requested myriapod and invisible carpet)
as usual got to the meet and great afterward which is always appreciated, very kind and patient people for having to hit the road for virginia!

The minneapolis show was epic. The band was really tight, and the setlist was subperb! I drank some magical tea and had a night ill never forget.
The crowd was really into it and had high energy, a beautiful group of people.
All in all it was a epic show for me, I loved hearing 3 new tunes live!
There were some mix and monitor issues here and there, at some times the bass was being drowned out, and silias was a bit hidden in the mix, but for me it didn't matter I highly enjoyed myself.
Big win for the ozrics. The next weekend I went to see shpongle: the masquerade, which itself was an amazing great time, but it didn't hold a candle to the explosive live energy of the ozrics, nor was the crowd as cool.
After the gig I talked to edd silias and brandi, and they were really nice to me, and brandi was so cool, truly a class act.
Thanks ozrics, can't wait till next time!!!

Just got back to my house in Florida from a long trek with friends to include the Richmond Canal Club show. It was great! Band was tight set list was awesome (I'll try to get it together..definitely PM, Lost in the sky, & Sultana Deltrii, also Myriapod were nice highlights for me personally) the sound in the club and the venue were great including the location in downtown along the canal system of Richmond. (A nice surprise)... before heading back to FL we took bicycles downhill in the Smokies and raced some long board skate boarders. Great fun. Big ups to the band... had to catch that one because it was the only one I could squeeze into my plans...turned out to be a perfect fit though... We'll see you out there, again!
