Hey folks. Was wandering if anyone knew of any (obviously hard to find) tabs to Curious corn - Curious corn. Mainly the second half, but the whole thing would be better.
Does anyone have any ideas about the bass riffs/know them, it would be a great help.
Cheers. H xx

Sorry, I've never learned this one. The second part of CC is a classic (wonderful) Ozrical bassline. The best way is to hear it again and again, write it on tabs and play along the CD...For learning/ working the OT basslines (we made a few Oz' cover versions), I re-program the drums and the synths (roughly) in a software sequencer (Logic, for exemple) and play along the midi files...very good to understand the tracks and that allows you to play on various tempi.

your welcome hobo , im not claiming it is 100% accurate by any stretch of the imagination . I don't have the tab for all of Curious corn , but i can tell you it starts in 7/8 the key center there is G minor I know that keyboard riff . once the arabian notes come in its a bit hard to distinguish . Most of my tabs/transcriptions are here on the site , in my head i have a classical guitar arrangement of the keyboard intro to coily and a heavy metal version of the keyboard riff from eternal wheel , ill notate them i hope in due course . that riff above took me about 10minutes and its a fairly straight forward part . so 10mins for 4 seconds of tab , would work out about 6+ hours for the whole tune . I doubt I have that discipline/motivation, and even if i did my kids definately wouldn't.
Now is there any chance you could upload your playing of said riff to youtube ?, that would be really cool ...
if you would like try to an online music lesson next week over instat messenger that might be do-able as im on half term . if so please feel free to email on damienguitar at aol dot com !

your welcome hobo , Now is there any chance you could upload your playing of said riff to youtube ?, that would be really cool ...! I've been playing around with it and I'm in agree its pretty much it. Haven't been on for a while, but I shall definately try and get a recording of me somewhow. It's a very good starting point to jam the rest of the second part using your points. That online messenger thing could be cool. Get a little online curious jam going. Anyway, I'll link you when it's up on the wide world of the web. Groove on H
