Although it's made entirely on modular synths the previews don't sound all that different from their other albums. Seeing Merv for two nights in a row was great; it's given me the chance to appreciate Eat Static's work more than before so I'll be checking this out as soon as it's available. It's on Interchill too so it's bound to be mostly downtempo. His other Interchill album, Back to Earth, is probably my favourite Static release.

Thank you! Eat Static and Silas releases, hopefully some Nodens. The Ozric flow seems to be cyclic.

I'm not sure this is for me as a whole, but the last track The Gates is very very good, maybe the best Eat Static I've heard...

It took a few listens for me to click I must admit. The first few times it sounded too weird and kind of uneventful but it grew on me after a while. Psychedelic downtempo is exactly my thing though, and now with a little perseverance I can appreciate the strange stuff a lot of the times.
I love that when it happens, and even more so with Ozric related stuff: I spend years and years only superficially listening to something and then in one moment bam! it all starts to make sense and a new world unfolds.

Hmm...out of the three Ozric related releases the Nodens one is by far the strongest. But I have only listened to the other two once, so may be they will grow (not normally a necessity).

This is a great release. The combination of ambient hypnotic rhythms is quite unlike anything I've ever heard. I think I like it ..... a lot.
