I haven't read anything of that sort for a long time. Last thing I read in the realm of psychedelics was wildest dreams by Richard Rudgely, an examination of the influence of substances in literature. Currently re-reading some Carlos Castaneda.
Are you planning on compiling some scientific theories Kirk and calling it 'Storm bringing moths......theories of chaos'

If that were true DJ then your house would be full of butterflys (hee hee) or hurricanes or something. Hee hee! Better not give butterflies to the terrorists. And they'd better start checking for them in your airplane luggage too.

And they'd better start checking for them in your airplane luggage too. that is the beauty of it, they don't have to be in the plane. All we have to do is "Harness the Chaos", point the butterfly at where we want destruction, and tickle it.

Rick Strassman admits in the book (DMT the spirit molecule) that no study has ever been performed on whether or not the Pineal gland does indeed produce DMT. He says that it does produce the enzymes which go towards making this brain secretion. Its a good read, highly recommended.

Yes, some of the accounts therein make very unusual reading. Especially the parallels he makes between the "Tibetan book of life and death" (souls take 45 days to re incarnate) and the appearance of the Pineal gland (and DMT) at 45 days gestation. Very interesting.
Have you got a biscuit Philly I'm starving ?

What interested me the most about The Spirit Molecule (I read it many years ago) are the similarities between near death exeriences, alien abductions and the psychedelic experience. Terrence McKenna also describes this in his books.

yup - they're all the same - and if it's not aliens or gods or pixies that are messaging us through this ether then it must be ourselves (either in prescience or in anticipation) erm... is it just me that hears spirit-contact through ozrics music? why only them?

;DSounds a lot like a DMT experience. DMT, is supposedly secreted naturally at the time of birth, and the time of death. South American Shaman's, however, use DMT for ritualistic journeys into the aether to gather knowledge for their people......other's use it to trip balls while listening to trippy music....lol
