I love the Ozrics music... but I feel some of it is so exciting, a vocal rapper singer dancing frontman might benefit things even better.
I'm prepared to be that man if they'll have me...
What do you think?

Welcome. I think Ozrics almost had a frontman with Jon Egan, flute player up until 2003 (or thereabouts). He did sing on one track but I don't think vocals really suit their style. The music has enough going on.

"Vocal rapper singer dancing frontman"?
Count me out. Lack of a singer is why I love the Ozrics, and I don't think I'm alone.
Jon sang on one song, I think. It was just ok.
Here's what Ed has to say about it: "I've never really liked vocals. Words always get in the way, make everything too specific. Our music is more about creating moods and giving the listener the chance to get whatever they want out of it. Music is better than singing."

I liked Jon as a "frontman"...playing flute, dancing, etc but directing us all to the music rather than himself.

I liked Jon as a "frontman"...playing flute, dancing, etc but directing us all to the music rather than himself. This is exactly how I feel. Given that he is participating in the new album, would it be too much to hope that he takes part in the gigs scheduled for next April?

Totally miss Jon! A guy who danced around, played flute and occasionally rambled (with echo) between songs. He was the perfect front man.
