Even I do and I was never their biggest fan. But they opened so many doors, them and Gong. And Hendrix.

Really awesome article glad to hear he is doing well. Knew about his fathers connection to the Beatles but didn't know about Donovan, what a trip. It makes a lot of sense

Thank you for posting this....really loved reading about Ed's ability to see notes as colors. Makes so much sense...magical.

Thank you for posting this....really loved reading about Ed's ability to see notes as colors. Makes so much sense...magical. Yes, indeed! I always suspected something like this, believe it or not. Ed uses music like kids use fingerpaint - listening to these wonderful and intricate compositions gave me the idea that his approach to music was quite unique. Plus, the keys in which he writes his songs are very typical, almost as if he has some favourite notes. For example, the soly in Coily is (if I remember correctly) written in F minor. Very unusual from a guitarist's point of view. Eternal Wheel, at least the intro, is written in C# minor. Also unusual for playing on guitar. So I thought that either Ed must have perfect pitch, or synesthesia. Now we know that it is the latter, and we also know why Ozric's music is so otherworldly.
