Ozric Tentacles have had a very big impact on my musical endeavors and life in general. I actually hit a low point and almost gave up making music which was once my passion due to the stresses of life... and then I found Ozric Tentacles (and a little friend called Lucy) and everything changed. I picked up my guitar again and started learning synthesis, mixing, mastering etc. Now I understand that I could not hope to touch that which is the sheer genius of Ozric but I try. Nonetheless I am on a journey to try and capture some of those distinct joyous Ozrical feelings and vibes (that I have not derived from any other artist to be quite frank) while also trying to create a sound that is unique to me.
