Anyone watch Horizon the other night, anyone not from these parts, its a science documentary on the BBC.
Anyway this episode inparticular got me juices going, it was about the Lorimer Bursts.
To start off, our civilisation is classed as a level one civilastion, anything above this is obviously far more advanced. Its based on how much power is being harnessed from a civilistions parent star/sun.
To get on with it then, to fully harness the power of the sun, its been theorised that a Dyson sphere would have to be built around it, if we were to do this and then view it from millions of miles away, our sun would look like it was dimming by about 70% intermittently.
Now, the Lorimer Bursts, these are precise in wavelenght radio signals we are recieving from another system somewhere, (afraid i cant remember where), but when they studied where they were coming from, it appears as if they coming from four different points in space but about equal distance from each other, and to top it off, they are in area of space where there is a high concentration of planets in what is known as the Goldilocks zone, which is our way of saying not too hot or too cold to possibly sustain life.
Now the real clincher, one of the nearest suns to where theses bursts are coming from, when viewed is dimming about in equal intervals by about 65%.
So is there a civilastion out there who is advanced enough to construct a Dyson Sphere to harness enough energy to generate the power needed to transmit these radio signals from these points in space that seem equally spaced in distance from each other and are close enough for an advanced level 2
civilisation to maybe maintain, and is in close enough vicinity to the Goldilocks
Planets.
This werent some Youtube flat earth theory, where the aliens are living underneath that the Nazi's new.
Anyone who has seen Horizon knows its a serious documentary, which blew me even more.
See what happens, when i listen to Ozrics.
