What other trance acts / cds are people digging at the moment. Besides Static, System 7 or Si Posford ?
My recommendations would be :
Spacecat (any release, hard futuristic psy trance) Manmademan (sort of System 7 meets Static but still original) Tristan (anything by this guy is really good) Infected Brain (really Psy)
I think the following is bilge though : Infected Mushroom (just dreadful) Growling Mad Scientist (poor Static ripoffs) 1000 Mics (everything sounds exactly the same) Raja ram compilations (bad tracks poorly mixed)
I don't think Trance ages well, one month it sounds fresh and interesting and the next it sounds old and cheezy. Is this something that others experience ?

Goa Gil is only a DJ, and not a Trance artist in his own right Munki, but I take the point you like what he does.

I used to be well into the Orb a few years ago, their first album, adventures in the ultraworld sounds a bit dated now but uforb still stands up and the full lenght version of Blue room is still bit of a tune when ya in the mood for it.

Yes, I have a track by Entheogenic that is exactly as you describe it. Do you have any info on who they are and where they are from ? My track has no credits. It reminds me of FSOL at their best (like Yage). What Entheogenic do you have and what catologue number is it etc ?

i don't have the actual CD, but I had downloaded "3D Vision" some time ago. I don't know much about who makes the music, but it appears to be available here www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/dv3/dv31cd011.htmli've been meaning to buy it.

Although this isn't like most of the stuff mentioned already, trance certainly fits into any description of it. I've become completely enamored of Nik Baertsch's music. Check out the myspace site for sound and video clips www.myspace.com/nikbaertschsronin
