Hi there about 15 years ago I started to learn guitar which was suplimentary to my self produced electronic compositions, I never got particularly good but had a lot of fun until it got frustratingly difficult and other things happenned in my life and I had less time.
This is where I was at : basic open chords, basic bar chord shapes and changing between them, basic grasp pentatonic blues scale and myxolidian scale. I can hammer on and off in places lol, I understand the concept. I had a friend who helped me out who was much more advanced at the time.
So bottom line is Ed Wynne/Roly and Brandi (for the basslines) have inspired me to pick up the axe again, I have an Epiphone SG sitting here and I would like to have fun basically and learn some Ozrics licks/riffs/basslines and... well anything really. I have been messing around with the more eassy recognizeable Ozrics melodies. Now I expect this is somewhat dropping myself in at the deep end and of course I am going to get stuck cause I am not technically good enough (fast enough) but any advice or tabs or even scales to check out that might be used in Ozrics music would be most welcome.
I want to have fun learning some Ozrics music and then maybe whilst toughening up the old finger pads again/practicing I might eventually get inspired to compose something.
Help + tips from guitarists very much welcomed.
peace.

You haven't looked very far have you? There's a whole load of Ozrics tabs on the main ozrics.com page. Best of luck!

If there's anything in particular you really want to learn, and you're having trouble getting the hang of it using tab then send me your email addy and I'll make you a video lesson (providing I can actually play whatever it is you want to learn)

Thanks very much, you are right, I did not look far, I actually did a search a month or so ago and did not find anything.
It sure is funny when you try playing something think you have it then you listen and it progressively changes, that is the skill of the ozrics musicanship coming through and why the music is simply so wonderful and alive.
I will go check ozrics.com
Sorry cannot see anything there, is it in the shop ?
cheers

There are some tabs on this site in the general section before you get on the board.

Hi Damien, thats is a very good idea and it is appreciated and in principle fine. Thing is I am really going towards this to inject some fun into my spare time which is a tad limited currently . I will surely be in contact should I really get into it again.
So far I have been widdling away trying to learn Ayurvedic bassline, Steve Hillage Glorious Om riff and a few other familiar melodies. Got em down just ned to get the tempo right, lol.
It is important to make effort to inject fun into music related things in spare time when you work in the area yourself as I am sure you know.
cheers man
