This is one of your most organic sounding tunes, Orpheus. Nice. Downloaded.

Nice one Orpheus, excellent guitar layers. I didn't pick up any synths except maybe the percussion on this one.

I'm getting "Oops, looks like we can't find that page!" for some of orpheus and jpeg's latest Soundclouds. But the ones that work sound great. Altogether way too much good stuff in this thread to comment on without sounding like hysterical fanboy.

there are a lot of interesting tracks on here...to bad there are so many dead links though. is there a way to clean this thread up? also in case you missed my post in another thread here is my stuff. soundcloud.com/echodronebandthe first few tracks are covers of a mix tape we put out about a year ago. dedicated to the john hughes films/characters of the 80's..if you scroll down further we have original stuff too. I'm working on 13 new tracks that should come out next year in the spring time. thanks for listening! mark /echodrum

I enjoy cold beer, loose women and English character actor Charles Gray, 1928-2000. And soup.

Nice ideas, guitar tastier than ever - yer feckin' good, mate. ------ (howTF does number of listens work on SoundCloud? I notice it says fewer listens on subsequent days - which can't possibly be right ..can it?)

Some tracks using (and inspired by) the VCS3 (or the iPad simulation of it - the iVCS3) along with a number of other iOS based synths. I really enjoyed making these tracks (and learning about the VCS3 in the process) - I've no idea what anyone else makes of them - but here they are: soundcloud.com/acollectionofnotes/sets/respiration-of-a-fading-sphereJan

Some Eyes of Etherea news for those interested: The album 'Mood Adjuster' is still a work in progress. Quite excited though that Colin Bass (Camel) is doing some session bass on it... For future news check out eyesofetherea.blogspot.com.au/ where we will update more regularly... there's also a few vintage gear snapshots. Cheers

Interesting news Dan. Are you inclined towards the more organic, proggy sound of Retropod or the spacier sound of your earlier work? My favourite work of yours is Files from the Chronographic Institute.

Hi Yiannis, I guess this one is probably more organic/proggy as you put it (more guitar and keys than synth) but it is still atmospheric at times. It's a progression on from Retropod. Of course we are already planning a concept for the next one which could be quite heavy and spacey but we probably should finish this album first!
