Warrior is great too. I do admit that HW have experimented with so many different elements that they are in a league of their own. True. Their latest experiment (Road to Utopia album) didn't work at all for me but you never know what they'll come up with next...

I just discovered the videos from this gig, and have been enjoying them all day:
Some of the best audio/video quality for live Ozrics!

Closest I've heard him get to Berlin School... lots of sequencers.

Listening to the Kozfest live by Nodens. Sounds great obviously, but I find it weird that they mislabeled Yumyum Tree as Oolong Oolong.

I had a listen to Cozmic Key a while back. Nice enough but it didn't grab me as much as Ed's solo album.
Interesting that they cover two Ozrics tracks on the live one.

Dissolution from Fox Boulder 1994-4-26 is absolutely amazing, with that early Vibuthi bonus jam at the end. Favourite version ever.

Really? Good album, but my impression was every Maiden remaster was squashed and stupidly bright. Is this a new remaster?

Possibly my favourite Maiden album. The title track is sheer perfection from the synth bit on.

Possibly my favourite Maiden album. The title track is sheer perfection from the synth bit on. They were definitely onto a good thing there, even though I heard some fans at the time were not happy about the addition of keyboards. It adds an atmosphere...

Yup, the latest remasters, Studio Collection, batch 2 ironmaiden.com/news/article/the-studio-collection-remasteredMy favourite album as well, and yes, I distinctly remember the backlash it received upon release because of the synths. fun fact, at the end of April, I saw the Iron Maidens live here and it was quite good, ladies played a wild set of odd tracks and non-hits, and they even played Alexander the Great, a track IM haven't played live yet (so they say). It was fun watching the drummer and guitarist nail that mid part that is so typical Macedonian/Greece rhythm.

I didn't grow up a fan so much as hearing them through the bedroom wall but I always enjoyed the epics.
I caught them (Maiden, not Maidens) live in Melbourne a few years ago and really enjoyed it.
Didn't realise they never played Alexander the Great live.

Latest Ullulators dub album. Works fine sober, although we do have the sunny summery atmosphere it works best in

Ozrics 24/4/94. Superb gig. My version is a tiny fraction slower than normal but when I sped it up to about 101-103% it revealed itself as a show to remember. Excellent sound, incredible performances.

It's true. '90-'94 they were on fire. All 94 gigs with Merv and Joie I've heard are stunning. The ones after Seaweed and Rad joined were generally good too.
