Propellerheads – Decksandrumsandrockandroll for the first time ever. Super groovy. I got to it from Merv working with Will White in a couple of projects. It seems Ozrics relations are endless

I'm listening to Kitty's footage on 30 years, some awesome moments there, Loomi and the bit of Fractal Sunset they play are fantastic.

I'm currently revisiting 'Erotic Cakes' by Guthrie Govan. Still digesting Technicians of the Sacred (mainly when I'm in the bath). I'm also currently smitten by Luther Vandross's "Never Too Much" and the bassline to Chic's 'Good Times'. I've just finished absolutely dissecting Skrillex 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites'. I think I'm now totally over my fascination with dubstep. I'm also having trouble shifting 'Symphony' (You know, clean bandit ) from my head.. I blame the BBC.

Loving Eat Static more each day. In the Nude currently playing. Eat Static is by far the most diverse Ozric relation and imo even more so than the Ozrics themselves. It only took me about 17 years to appreciate them.

Better late than never I got hooked back in 1995 when Gulf Breeze played on local radio ... yeah, that actually happened I wonder what you will think of Science of the Gods. It's very harsh and brutal but I really like it, you can feel the power behind the music.

Will get back to you on SotG Alberik. I remember it being a bit bangy and noisy. When the time is right I'll have a proper listen.
For the time being enjoying Monads of Magonia in 24 bits after finally purchasing the remasters. Expectedly, it sounds a lot cleaner and better than my SS copy. There's a CD reissue of Flaming Chaos too, though it's quite rare, so I'll keep that in mind.

I have to look into those Ullulators remasters. The originals are really murky

They're good. Some of the tracks were recorded on very primitive equipment so a remastering couldn't change much, but what has been remastered sounds much better. apparently there were snippets of existing music they used to link tracks, which Gavin decided to exclude. Can't say I remember these bits or that I'll go through the originals to find them any time soon though. It would be awesome if these came out on CD one day with expanded artwork and Gavin's notes in them.

Thanks for the info. I figured they were rough and ready, like the early Ozrics ones. I don't mind that, but there was an extra layer of sonic soup all over the Ullulators in comparison. The new one sounds interesting, even though it veers a bit much into Steve Vai territory at times for me.

Watched the last few minutes of Space Between Your Ears from the New York 94 live a few times today. Totally mental.

Watched the last few minutes of Space Between Your Ears from the New York 94 live a few times today. Totally mental. Thanks for posting. Interesting video, I haven't seen that before. I got onto this one: I remember hearing that videos like this existed in the early 2000s, but not getting to see them. It seemed like gold back then, a video with the Rad/Seaweed lineup. Shame there's no official pro shot release from that time.

Shame there's no official pro shot release from that time. Agreed but I really like Rich's '99 mono footage. I'd seen them enough times by then to be able to allow myself to be completely immersed in the experience and this gig is the best I remember them

Check out the only filmed version of Spice Doubt I'm aware of in this footage if you haven't Dan; it's absolutely amazing, even better than the one on the live album imo. Oolite Grove and Papyrus are also great.

Oolite Grove and Papyrus are also great. I checked out Spice Doubt. Looks good but TBH I found it hard to tell much difference from the album, due to the distorted sound. This was a good time for them no doubt though.

It's in the video I posted above around 1:30:00. Like Dan said don't expect the sound to be too great. The performance is ace though.

ah, ok, I thought there was a video recording of that live webcast album I always get triggered around that word and hoping it exists.

Great looong jam supposedly by the Ullulators I've never heard of before. There's a brief bit where they do Erpriff around 14:15.

& Finest Finger. Excellent Italian band. Portable Madness may have some of the murkiest production I've heard but it is a top instrumental album.

Ullulators Share a Clum. The album takes a seriously blissful turn from Blue Aethyr to the end. Easily as good as Ozrics at the time.

Starting to like the latest Ullulators quite a bit. The guitar seems to have grown on me and I don't mind the ethnic bits at all.

I've always liked 'ethnic bits' in just about everything. I think what I like less is the dub/reggae bits. NP: Klaus Schulze: Kontinuum A bit of a slow burner as with a lot of Klaus stuff, but mostly enjoyable.
