Porcupine Tree- Fear of a Blank planet
bought on recomendations from folk on this site.
It's quite good, tracks 1 and 5 being the best, However in places it sounds exactly like Depeche Mode (not a bad thing).
Opeth, Camel and stink Floyd fans might enjoy it too.

Spacecake – Rocket Science…
Now spinning and beaming upwards and outwards….
Let’s Go Native and The Standing People……
Ah, The New Age Cherokee Nation is rising once again via these electromagnetic waves
As once sang by Paul Revere and The Raiders….”Cherokee Nation” will return…. And they are today via Casino’s…. Smart move thar Native Brothers…
Etherway, this CD is totally sweet and well place with beats and waves to get ya going and glowing.… Oh by zee way MB$, this is your CD… I might send it onwards to you but it might be a while because I’m gliding onwards out thar via this Rocket Science…..
“Can you see through Steel”? No. “Can you create energy base multiple of yourself”? woo ha nope. “Can you destroy the earth” I hope not, that where I keep all my stuff’…
Track 11 “Intro Schricky”
Ahhhhh I Love it!!

WoooHoooooooo….I just received the Arazchel Collectors Edition by Uriel ( 68'-69' circa)… The Cloudsurfer shifted into the high astral jet stream for it took less than five days to arrive across the pond and land here… Tis sweet too listen from an era of past. I just wish I could have seen them play back then for surely I would have been lifted, drifted, upwards and outwards… The CD outer package was delivered with out a wrinkle on it and the outer packing label professionally done. Inside as I ever so gently pull out the CD I notice that the outer plastic covering is a brilliant idea for no need to rip off with your teeth, or stick something sharp to slide along it to open up like normal CD plastic covers. This one you just pull up at the sticky folded end and slide out the CD. Cool! The whole full colour Digipak CD is well colour coordinated and has a picture close up of three moon craters with a silver line leading from Dave Stewart signature to the centre of the smaller crater on the left. Could this have been their Moon base station of then? But then again, the name of the crater is the same as the CD. The LightScribe CD has a picture of a light orange color moon. Inside cover has photos of all four musicians with another photo showing Steve, Clive and Dave on stage. Backside has different photos of the four musicians along with the track titles.First and foremost, you have to go back into time, back into that era with the understanding of the music scene happening. Once there, then you will feel and see that these four stood their grounds whilst heading in the right direction during those times. As most of you know how I feel about Steve Hillage…It’s great to hear and feel his earlier transmission vibration waves... Onwards later with Space Shanty, Fish Rising, with Dave Stewart. I enjoyed reading their 20-page booklet mystery and history coming alive once again. I could tell you some things but, with respect as requested by the musicians, you just have to order it and read it for your self. This Collectors Edition is truly a Golden Vintage Voltage Collectors dream which now this missing piece of Golden Leylines has been added to mine…. ;D [glow=red,2,300] Five Star Salute [/glow] Too Burningshed and the Musicians’ for making this happen once again for you truly know how to keep the Faith… Now spinning and beaming………..1. Garden of Earthly Delights 2. Azathoth 3. Soul Thing 4. Leg 5. Clean Innocent Fun 6. Metempsychosis 7. Introducing the Bass Guitarist 8. Egoman 9. Swooping Bill 10. The Salesman Song 11. Saturn, The Bringer of Old Age 12. The StumblePeace and Keep Zee Faith

Yes! I'll be getting it (the Arzachel CD) after Christmas; plus the live Egg release. Just received the first Egg album with all bonus tracks. Fabulous! Love that band.
Cheers from Toronto

Sigur Ros at the moment. Other than the Ozrics, they're just about one of the most original bands around at the moment.

'Romantic Warrior' by Chic Corea's 'Return to Forever', for all you Jazz fusion fans who might not be as old as me (ancient). I first bought this album in 1975 ( I still have it on vinyl) but have not heard it for years. I found it on Amazon and treated myself for Christmas. It has been re-mastered and sounds even better than my memories of it. I have a sneaky feeling that Ed's Dad must have owned this and inspired him as a fledgeling guitarist. The Ozrics track 'Spirals in Hyperspace ' would not be out of place on this c.d. This is high energy synth/keyboards - virtuoso guitar and bass with stunning drums from musicians at the top of their craft - timeless - treat yourself. :-)

Recently bought Nebulus Dawn, a triple CD album of early Tangerine Dream stuff on it, There's a lot of ambient stuff on there, but also there's alot of shit hot long guitar solo based instrumentals on it as well. Worth checkin out, if you like something a bit alternative.

Ozhead.
I could not agree more regarding THE ROMANTIC WARRIOR album It is pure class, almosty beyond belief. Astonishing playing from all four of them. Have you seen the clippings of them on YouTube playing some of the tracks from this album? Mate, I just sit there and dribble..............well, maybe not quite, but you get my drift!
I have had my vinyl copy since 1977 - found it at a bus stop would you believe! Yep, no shit... It's well worn so the CD version was a must.
Insane album. A pure gem.

Yeah mate, also go to - www.return2forever.com - check out a couple of remastered tracks from the re-release. The 'Romantic Warrior' line up of 'Return To Forever' are playing the 02 on July 21st, I last saw them in 1976! I went to see Stanley Clarke at The Jazz Cafe in London last week - blew me away - he must be the worlds greatest living bass player, phenomenal! Jazz fusion at it's zenith. Younger Ozric's fans, get your lug 'oles round some of this stuff! :-)
