Very nice cover. Continuing the tradition of the Wynnes' fascination with Egypt.

Thanks. Sounds great! With this and the new Nodens Ictus we'll be spoilt rotten in December.

One more track on his bandcamp page, Feathers of Ma'at. Everything I've heard so far has been very good.

Indeed it has! I am still binging on new Eat Static but this will easily compete for my ears.

Love the new Static, even the weird tunes.

It's starting to make more sense now. I now think that the first tune is overloaded with stuff that doesn't go together; maybe it just needs more listens. The rest of the album is growing on me. I reckon Silas' music is less catchy than Ozrics' and the storytelling aspect can be improved upon so there's a clearer progression and direction, but I'm happy to admit I was wrong - it doesn't sound as Ozricky as I initially thought. Surprisingly, so far it's worked better sober for me. Of course I'm not ruling out the possibility that I simply haven't listened to it with a properly open mind and focus and it turns out to be an amazing album, which would make me really happy.

After all this time I can now say I see the brilliance. But it took a lot of listens for it to reveal itself to me as a great album. There are plenty of details that make more sense in (slightly)catalised consciousness. Another Ozrics-related gem
