The "More Info" pages for these FLAC releases don't contain any information about which releases or remasters they are derived from. For instance "Pungent Effulgent": www.ozrics.com/ashop/catalog/Pungent_Effulgent.htmlThe extra track "Ayurvedism" which is available on the 2003 Snapper remaster does not appear to be available in the FLAC release. Does this mean the FLAC release is based on the 1990 Dovetail release, or is it based on the 2003 Snapper release and just excludes the extra track? I attempted to contact the band directly about this but the "Contact Us" link (http://www.ozrics.com/ashop/emerchant/mailform.php) is currently broken. If anyone could chime in with more information about the origins of the FLAC releases it would be greatly appreciated!

i have downloaded all the flac recordings, they are outstanding quality. i play them through Foobar and have a decent MF dac, sound comparable and sometimes better than cd. 'become the other' definitely sounds better than the cd, as i find the cd somewhat 'bassy' on my equipment (audiolab, quad, b&w). the live in prordenone flac release is superb

Not having a direct answer to your question, I have always just presumed that when the re-mastered digipak cd''s were released, Ozrics decided to release the flac files from the same re-masters.
