Do any of you know Damian R. I would like to chat to him and find out if he and Watermill are still friends.

I've met Ed & Silas. Got my Jurassic Shift LP signed, very pleased!
I think I'll probably pick up Technicians of the Sacred LP at this gig, I've been really enjoying it!
I often wonder what Jon, Seaweed & Zia are up to these days. They only seem to resurface once a year or so (less in Seaweed's case). It'd be reassuring to know they are getting by OK & maybe making some music somewhere.

I know the Zia has his band Zub Zub and is booked for certain festivals and Jon does various pieces for several bands to include Zub Zub from time to time. I hope he plays with Quantom Fantay this year again as I would like to see that. As for Seaweed I know nothing but I am such a fan of his work and think his track Cloud Surfing is quite something special.

...and here's the one I went to. 360p I'm afraid but it's cool to have something like that to remember a gig you enjoyed by.

Yeah it's changed. I can't download from YT, I'll wait for it to be available elsewhere, hopefully.

if you use Firefox, just use any random plugin for downloading youtube videos, it's as easy as one-click. I usually save in .flv format which can be read by most video players.
Btw, last night was great. I really loved the two jam tracks, setlist was inspiring, Balazs was on fire! Also, the visuals, awesome - Fruit Salad in the house made it all the more special.
Also, loads of merch.

Today's the day! I think I'll aim to be at the bar for around 5.30ish just to get a few swift ones in before the show.

I saw Jon as well. Maybe its just his personality but it seemed like he was really trying to draw attention to himself. Show was great though, good crowd!

Maybe its just his personality but it seemed like he was really trying to draw attention to himself. Depends on the day I guess. You can see him going "Me! Meeee!" on the Pongmasters DVD, but I saw him at the Pongmasters Ball in 2006 I think and he was pretty quiet. The same happened at the Twisted Festival of the following year, where he appeared with Zubzub (missed that, the schedule was all over the place with three rooms/stages operating simultaneously). He saw me wearing my Ozrics t-shirt but I didn't even say hi - too shy to.

I hope that Ozrics do another tour in spring 2017 You're so greedy I hope I get to see them again some time too. Judging by the unsatisfactory turnover the promoter in Athens is rumoured to have had, it might be a while again though.

This may sound weird but the only good thing about Ozrics playing at festivals is the setting IMO. And the fact that they're actually playing of course. Their sets are usually short and quite predictable. I don't know if them playing at a festival would be enough incentive for me to go to that festie if there were no one else I liked.

When I was fulltime carer for my mother some 10 years ago I managed to get telephone number of festival organizer for Eastern Haze Festival and speaking with him I told him what I did and said I only wanted to see O.T and his reply was they are headlining our festival and there slot is 9pm Saturday. When I arrived Space Ritual was playing followed by Ozrics.

Point I was making was that I attended a festival just to see one band, sadly Ozrics played about 7 songs and Vinny played the last two as he was busy attending festival matters as he was one of the chief peeps at festival.

That sounds both costly and anticlimactic in many ways. I'm definitely not prepared to do it.
