New multitrack recording from Pordenone in 2013. Originally recorded at 44.1khz 24bit on 24 channels. It's available as 256kbps mp3 and 24bit flac. This is the highest quality live recording on the site so far and it's a great example of the current line up. Check out the clips here: www.ozrics.com/ashop/catalog/Live_in_Pordenone.htmlA lot has gone into making this show sound amazing. We hope you enjoy it...

Loadsa guitar and jams - old faves like Og-Ha-Be and Sniffing dog have entirely new sections.
Interesting to hear old and new stuff with new sounds and ensemble
A must-have

Also, I'd managed to miss DATS & REELS VOL I before.
Waah!
Totally loving that.

Band's on tour, site's down. I might have known... shifty
I need to get this, probably when they come back from the tour.
It would be cool if the site were like Bandcamp, where you can listen to the music before you download.

Hey Yiannis, as far as I know their first gig is Thursday June 19th, 2014 as per the tour info on ozrics.com and you can hear 30secs of streaming of each track before downloading. It must be a local internet thing to yourself or temporary maintenance seems to work fine here: www.ozrics.com/ashop/catalog/Live_in_Pordenone.html

if this gig is from the same tour we just saw them at then I will definitely get hold of that as soon as either i get some work or someone buys some cellartapes tunes! It's nice the new sound is more "fun" than say in the mid to late 90s when things got a bit hairy at times..

Finally managed to have half-a-listen. I don't know if it's "Ed's pixie dust" as Pete put it some time ago, me or the objective truth, but I hear the band more focused than in the last few years. Sounds great. I hope an Athens gig transpires so I can have a proper experience of this line up. Well, more praying than hoping.
Edit: I've now listened the whole thing. It might be the "safest" gig I've heard by them in that there's hardly any jamming, but I reckon it worked in their favour. I can't remember any obvious bum notes. Nice one. In fact I reckon it's at least as good as the Oslo 2010 gig in terms of playing and execution.

Check out the clips here: www.ozrics.com/ashop/catalog/Live_in_Pordenone.htmlA lot has gone into making this show sound amazing. We hope you enjoy it... I am a long time fan of the band having discovered them at Glasto in early 90's. I bought all their tapes and cds, t shirts, etc etc and managed to gain access to the (now deleted?) fpt site. I was thrilled to be able to purchase good quality downloads of their recent shows and indeed have been doing so - the moment they are posted. However, I bought this show earlier this year and there was a delay in getting the downloads. No big deal I thought, I know the guys and they care about their fans. Eventually I think it was Brandi who posted/emailed apologies for the delays (busy people!!) and said as compensation buyers could have 2 downloads free. Now I think I have everything here already. But when I downloaded Pordenone for some reason track 3 did not download or was corrupted. I don't have it. I have the rest of the show (AWESOME!) and so I emailed the ozrics. No reply. I emailed again - no reply. I emailed over twenty times since June to end of September with no response. So eventually I am posting to the boards. I only want track 3 to complete the show. I am not moaning about customer services and lack of communication. I understand that things get lost, one machine might not link to another and data is lost. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can I have track three posted again or a refund for the show? If this is the wrong place for a request - I am sorry but someone must know someone who can pass this post on! Go on keep an old Ozric fan happy..... Thanks and peace! A

Hi moonskald, Really sorry to hear about your problems with the site. We have received no emails about this, they must be getting lost somewhere between our accounts. We do our best to make sure everyone gets their files. Send me a pm with your email address and I'l send you a new download link... Happy to hear that everyone's enjoying the pordonone recording

Really been digging the Pordenone show for the past few months. Good setlist, pristine audio, and above all, it is their most integrated sounding mix to date.
The heavy parts remain heavy, but never too shreddy or ear fatiguing, the chill parts soothe, but never sleep, the loops blend seamlessly with the live elements, and so on…all in the most choice ways imaginable.
The only real area for improvement, remains leaving room for extended improv. Granted the tech-intensive, somewhat complex nature of Ozric music, means there will always be some constraints to contend with, BUT…during those magic moments when the band allows themselves to improvise and break form, as in "Og-Ha-Be" and "Sniffing Dog", the results are astounding(!). More of that please ; )) I think I could literally listen to Ed and Silas layer soundz over a Dub groove all day long.
Kudos to the band for delivering such a fresh sounding live album 31 years in!

Hi There. I just bought and downloaded the Live in Pordenone 2013. It say's there is an option to download as mp3 or flac file, but it somehow only gave me the option to download as mp3, so now I have lost quite a bit of sound quality : (
Can someone possibly help me out with this please? I'd really appreciate it, been a long time Orzics lover.
Thank kindly.

Hey Saran, The link is on the word link, which worked when I clicked on it, but here is the address in case it doesn't work your end: www.ozrics.com/ashop/index.php?exp=16|&cat=17&shop=1http://Anyway, in the future you can find any FLAC releases by looking specifically for them in the Categories box top left. Hope this helps a bit more.

Hi Yiannis,
Thanks for the reply and the link. Yesterday before i paid for the download, a message came up and said that you can select either mp3 or flac files, but when I paid and got the link to the download page, that is when it was only available to download as mp3's. So I really don't know what happened???
I sent an email to the contact us if any troubles occurred, which was at the bottom of the page, but I haven't heard back yet. So hopefully someone may contact me.......fingers crossed. I was really wanting the flac quality, cos simply the Ozrics are my all time number one band, pretty much from when they started out. Actually I waited to male the purchase of it until the 31st March, yesterday, because it was my birthday and was a gift to myself. But anyways we will see.
Thanks for all your help, I really appreciated it.
Best Regards,
Saran

hello Silas, I was lucky enough to have a word with you at Newcastle before your performance in May this year. forgot to mention that I am so impressed by the 'Pordenone' recording. 'Eternal Wheel' is just amazing on flac. I have since thendownloaded several flac versions of Ozrics albums and I am blown away by the sound quality. Of course the cd's are amazing too, and for that reason, and my for my love of the music, I continue to listen mainly to your albums day by day. I only wish more people could learn to appreciate the sheer quality of your recordings. thank you ever so much for the music. Much love to all the Ozrics crew, Col
